WHO ARE WE?
We are a voluntary Association of supporters of the National Trust.
We organise social events such as talks, trips, group holidays,
[sometimes overseas] pub lunches, concerts. We publish a quarterly Newsletter.
We aim to raise funds in order to provide support for National Trust
Appeals, particularly in West Somerset but also nationally.
WHERE ARE WE?
Membership is open to anyone who is already a member of the National Trust, or an employee with the National Trust,
or a volunteer with the National Trust. Spouses of Life Members are also welcome to join.
We welcome members of all ages. The majority of our activities are particularly suitable for
those who are retired, as they occur during weekday 'office hours'
We are based in West Somerset; most of our events take place in the coastal area including Bridgewater, Watchet, Minehead, Porlock, and coaches on our trips generally pick up between Minehead and either Taunton or Bridgwater, depending on destination.
"...to promote social activities to make membership of the National Trust more enjoyable."
